COUNTDOWN AND GRIFFINS TEAM UP

Following GirlGuidingNZ’s announcement last year of discontinuing the sale of the quintessential Girl Guide biscuits, Countdown and Griffin’s have collaborated to bring the Original Guide biscuits to supermarket shelves for the first time.

A dollar for every pack sold will be donated to the organisation in support of the work it does to empower girls and young women.

“We’re so grateful for the support from Griffin’s and Countdown for allowing us to be able to bring back our iconic Guide biscuits in a way that maximises benefit for our members,” Susan Coleman, chief executive of GirlGuidingNZ shared. Coleman said that the funds raised from the biscuit sales will support the organisation’s programme development and delivery, as well as allow its current girl guides to focus on receiving experiences that develop confidence and skills.
