EASIYO PARTNERS WITH KIDSCAN TO HELP KIWI KIDS

Kiwi Kids are set to benefit from EasiYo yoghurt makers as a promotion from the company gets underway at Countdown stores this August. $2 from every specially marked Pink EasiYo Yogurt Maker sold at countdown supermarkets will be donated to the Children’s charity KidsCan as part of a special promotion run by EasiYo. The promotion will run while stocks last with the proceeds going towards shoes, raincoats, food, health and hygiene items for kids in need.

EasiYo has been a key partner of KidsCan for more than six years, supporting school breakfast programmes throughout New Zealand and volunteering for food distribution days during the year. Almost 16,000 EasiYo products are set to be distributed to KidsCan partner schools at the start of the third school term as part of KidsCan’s food distribution programme.

KidsCan Founder and CEO Julie Chapman said that the longstanding partnership between KidsCan and EasiYo has been hugely beneficial for the charity, not to mention the children receiving the yoghurt as part of the KidsCan Food Programme.

“EasiYo has become a staple in many Kiwi kitchens, and we all know our Kiwi kids love the product,” she said. “To learn that they are donating $2 from every Pink EasiYo Yogurt Maker sold through Countdown from August is just outstanding and this generosity will see more kids fed, clothed and receiving essential health and hygiene items. We are delighted.”

EasiYo Marketing Manager Sarah Hollander added that the ongoing partnership with KidsCan demonstrates the way organisations like EasiYo can genuinely give back to the community.

“EasiYo have partnered with KidsCan since 2012, and we incorporate this throughout our business well, participating in fundraising events and volunteer days,” she explained. “This year we’re excited to extend that involvement to our customers offering a different design in the Pink Maker as well as the donations to KidsCan.”

EasiYo is a homegrown New Zealand success story that began over 20 years ago and was born from the desire of wanting to give the best of both yoghurt and homemade to a growing family. To date, the company has donated over 23,000,000 items of food, 336,000 raincoats, 161,000 shoes, 322,000 pairs of socks and, 621,000 health and hygiene products to kids in need.

The Pink EasiYo Yogurt Maker will retail at Countdown stores for RRP $24.99 and will be available from August.
