FOUR ARRESTED AFTER ROBBERY IN NAPIER STORE

Four people have been arrested following a daylight robbery at Four Square Greenmeadows, in Napier.

The incident occurred on Sunday around 1.30pm, and according to police reports the offender was disguised and intimated staff with a hammer. He then fled the store with cash and cigarettes but didn’t last long on the run.

Thanks to information provided by the public, police were able to identify his vehicle on Sunday afternoon and arrested the 42-year-old local man along with three teenagers.
