This role is responsible for supporting the Business Manager at the highest level! It’s about ensuring the team can deliver effectively against all financial, volume and account targets. You’ll be managing promotional modelling & reporting; analysis of pricing and competitor activity – assisting in category reviews; developing & evaluating monthly forecasts and generally providing support to a very busy Key Account Manager who has loads of experience and the capability to help you develop. In this role, there is the opportunity to have your own category or even your own customer to manage.

We need a Key Account Executive with Foodstuffs experience. You may have come from a background in category, sales or trade marketing. You’ll have exceptional computer and planning skills; attention to detail; and time management – with a solution-focused approach. Customer Service is your middle name and you can demonstrate a strong ability with analysis and numbers and AC Nielsen/Aztec experience is a must.

Business Manager – Foodstuffs South Island

12 month maternity cover contract for a well-known FMCG organisation in Christchurch

Be responsible for the business with Foodstuffs South Island and in a key leadership position within the NZ business.  This role sits on the Sales Leadership Team for the NZ Consumer business.

In this position, you will develop and execute strategic business plans for Foodstuffs South Island.  You will be working closely with the National Field Sales Manager to ensure that the business has an alignment on the delivery of the strategies.

We need someone that is able to grow strong relationships cross-functionally, from top to bottom within Foodstuffs.  Be the mentor that your direct reports look up to and work as a team to deliver optimal performance.

To be considered for this role, you will have a proven, successful track record in FMCG sales and 3 – 5 years’ key account management experience ideally working on Foodstuffs. You will have strong skills within category management and interpersonal skills.
