Supplement brand Go Healthy New Zealand Ltd has been charged by the Commerce Commission following an investigation. The Commerce Commission claims that the brand has allegedly been misleading customers by stating that the supplements were made in New Zealand when in fact the majority of key ingredients were imported.
The claims in questions relate to a Go Healthy advertising campaign that first appeared in 2014 and featured NZ made claims across a variety of media including posters, magazine advertisements, billboards, websites, social media, and national television.
As the matter is before the Court, the Commission will make no further comment at this time.
