HEALTH RANGE EXPANDS TO VIETNAM

Kirin’s functional food brand, iMUSE has expanded into Vietnamese markets. An immunity-boosting probiotic drink is the first product sold overseas under the iMUSE brand.

The brand created this health drink with immunity functionality to fight the infectious diseases going around in Vietnam. The yoghurt and lemon flavoured drink include 100 billion Lactococcus lactis plasma which boosts immunity and health.

“The health and well-being trend is emerging in Vietnam. More people are taking up supplements,” said marketing manager, Takeshi Fukushima. “The new drink could propose new health value of drinking soft drinks to manage one’s health to help the country solve the social problem.”

The spread of dengue fever and hepatitis in Vietnam was becoming a problem even though Vietnamese people were spending more money on nutritional healthcare products. This drink can enhance the anti-viral immune system and improve overall health.
