HUGE COMPENSATION AFTER GRAPES ACCIDENT

A 48-year-old Tesco shopper from Ireland, Patricia Walsh, has been awarded £1.1 million in compensation after slipping on grapes inside a store. Having suffered permanent back and bladder injuries, as well as psychiatric and psychological consequences, Walsh sued the supermarket chain, arguing that the unfortunate accident had rendered her ‘grossly disabled in all aspects of her life’. She also pointed out that her injuries have affected her ability to resume employment or practice sport.
