How Kellogg is responding
As always, through its global Kellogg’s Better Days purpose platform, the brand helps to deliver critical nourishment to families when they need it most. In the face of this crisis, food banks are providing vital relief.
To help ensure families and children continue to get access to the food they need, Kellogg Company, through one of its charitable funds, is committing $500,000 to support coronavirus relief efforts. Funds will be provided to two of our Better Days partners, Global FoodBanking Network and Feeding America, who have established coronavirus relief funds to support communities worldwide including areas with school closures where kids rely on school meals.
Kellogg is also contributing incremental donations in communities around the world. For example, providing a $100,000 gift to United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region’s emergency relief fund.
“We will continue to actively evaluate where additional support is needed,” said Kris Bahner, senior vice president, global corporate affairs.
