Deloitte’s annual Fast 50 Award winners have been announced, and Raglan Coconut Yoghurt is one of them. The awards span every industry in the country, and its winners proved that targeting niche audiences is the way to succeed.
Raglan Coconut Yoghurt won the Fastest Growing Consumer Product Award, illustrating what many in the industry already know: consumers are increasingly buying sustainably. Co-Founder Latesha Randall stated the brand wasn’t initially planning on entering the Awards, but did so thanks to pressure from fans.
“It kind of blows us away to look back and see how far the business has come in the past four years,” said Randall. “We’ve come from making yoghurt by hand in small batches and delivering to stores in our surf van using a chilly bin, to a team of 24 yoghurteers and our own proper little yoghurt factory supplying stores nationwide and overseas.”
The brand’s commitment to sustainability means they recently did away with their Little Yoghis range as few customers were using the recycling programmes set up for them.
The range of coconut yoghurts contains several flavours, from basic Greek through to an indulgent Vanilla and a refreshing Raspberry and Lime.
