TESCO REMOVES IMPULSE SWEETS

BRITAIN’S largest retailer Tesco is set to remove all confectionery from its checkouts by the end of the year in a bid to curb obesity.

“We’ve made a commitment to help our customers lead healthier lives, and we’ve talked to them about what would make the biggest difference. Two-thirds of them have told us that this would help them make healthier choices,” says a Tesco spokesperson.
