Baxter’s Original is a boutique family-run business based on the Miramar Peninsula in Wellington. The Baxter family, Scott, Erika and their two boys relocated to NZ from America in 2013. Known as ‘The Condiment King’, Scott went about in search of delicious tasting condiments that weren’t filled with artificial colour and preservatives but didn’t come across any that really hit the mark. So, he and fellow condiment lover Berrin would whip up batches of sauces that friends and family would then request to have in their cupboards too – they were on to a winner! Since then, the brand has gone on to win ten awards for the best sauces locally and internationally. A year on from Berrin taking over the NZ operations, Wendy’s Hamburger chain recently placed a large order to feature the ‘Dragons Breath’ sauce in the Dragonator burger.

The range includes six sauces and are gluten free, GMO free, vegetarian friendly, soy free, dairy free, peanut free, treenut free, with no added colouring and only natural preservatives.
