WINDSOR OWNERS MOVED TO WAKATIPU

Warren and Kerri-Anne McKenzie

Long-time owners of Windsor New World (Invercargill) Warren and Kerri-Anne McKenzie have recently moved to Wakatipu New World in Queenstown, whose previous owners-operators are now preparing to open Pak’nSave Queenstown.

Warren is a third-generation Foodstuffs member. His parents opened Windsor New World in 1974, and he began working full-time in the business in partnership with his parents until their retirement. Warren and Kerri-Anne then continued operating Windsor New World until the opportunity arose for Wakatipu New World.

“We found it difficult to leave our loyal Windsor team after such a long family association, but were heartened to find a welcoming and dedicated team at Wakatipu, surrounded by stunningly beautiful scenery with a vibrant customer blend of locals and tourists,” they said. This family tradition is likely to continue, as their daughters Ashley and Charlotte also work in the business after school, and their son James is about to begin soon.
