THE WINE WORLD MEETS IN NZ FOR SAUVIGNON 2016

More than 300 guests are expected to attend the first ever International Sauvignon Blanc Celebration, Sauvignon 2016, a three-day event to be held in Marlborough from February 1st 2016. Designed to showcase and explore regional characteristics, styles and winemaking techniques, the event will give attendees from 18 countries the chance to savour over 400 wines from New Zealand, Italy, France, Chile, South Africa, Australia, America and Austria. History and future directions will also be debated, ranging from stainless steel fermented wines to wild fermented and oak aged approaches, not to mention lower alcohol options.
To further entertain all participants, other activities are also scheduled, such as a train trip through the Awatere Valley, a Kiwiana beach party, a garden party at Timara Lodge and a ultimate Gala dinner finale.
