FULL OF PUNCHY HOP FLAVOUR

Meet the newest beer from Mac’s – an American Pale Ale brewed with US hop varieties, sent by the truckload to the little island at the end of the world.

Mac’s Interstate is a classic APA that’s full of punchy hop flavour, but refreshing enough to be your go-to craft brew for summer. The most dominant part of this beer’s personality comes from its US hops, used in a way to show off their citrus-like, floral and fruity aromas and flavours.

“We start brewing Interstate with a base of Pilsner and Crystal malts to give it just enough body to carry the hops. Next, we use Amarillo and Simcoe hops in the brewhouse to give the beer its crisp bitterness. But the real stars of the show are the Mosaic and Citra hops, used to dry hop the brew and add their citrus and grapefruit notes," said Mac’s ambassador Kurt Gross.

“Punchy, with refreshing citrus flavours and a bit of bite – we think this beer is so good, we’ve granted it permanent residence in the Mac’s line up.”

Interstate pours a deep golden colour, sits at a 5 on the Mac’s flavour scale and has an ABV of 5%.

Mac’s Interstate APA is available in 6 packs RRP $15.99 and 12 packs RRP $27.99. It will also be released on tap in Mac’s Brew Bars around the country.
