TopShelf: Kiwi Dips Made Sustainably

If you’re an avid fan of My Food Bag, you might have heard of Kiwi brand TopShelf before now.

The family business paired up with Nadia Lim at My Food Bag’s inception in 2013 to offer a wide range of aiolis, dips, spreads, pestos, and tapenades for food-lovers.

“The partnership has been very interesting for both sides, and has helped us in trying flavours out. Some of our current products were released after a strong request from My Food Bag.” Father-and-son director duo, Malcolm and Jesse Watson, commented.

Three years later, TopShelf is now expanding its spring range in deli sections of supermarkets across New Zealand – including Moore Wilson’s, participating New World supermarkets, Farro Fresh, and Countdown Ponsonby.

Customers can pick from vibrant products such as a fiery Piripiri and Horopito aioli, a classic sundried tomato pesto, a juicy béarnaise sauce, or an exotic Kalamata and lemon zest tapenade.

The company prides itself firstly on its sustainable approach, with all of its products possessing a long shelf life and artful packaging.

“Our range is made without nasty preservatives and fillers, is gluten-free and palm-oil free and we only use free-range eggs.” Jesse Watson explained.

TopShelf’s new and fresh flavours are perfect for a Kiwi spring - designed to be enjoyed with classics such as fish and chips, bolognaise, barbecued steaks and more.
