CATHEDRAL COVE NATURALS

Family business Cathedral Cove Macadamias started as a small operation in a biodynamic orchard at Cathedral Cove on the Coromandel Peninsula, today it has added a new arm called Cathedral Cove Naturals. Over the years, the family’s passion for real wholefoods, healthy eating and wellbeing has grown the scope of the company’s offerings to include more than the original macadamia range. The team spoke to Laura Bedwell from Cathedral Cove to find out more.

What is your current product range?

“Our current product range consists of yoghurts, breakfast cereals, cold pressed oils and crumb mixes. Our range is based around organic and natural whole food products for gluten free, paleo and vegan diets. We are dedicated to bringing consumers everyday wellbeing at a great value through delicious, natural and nutrient-dense foods. Our most successful product range is our coconut yoghurt that comes in three varieties. Natural, which is made from only coconut cream and probiotic cultures. Cacao Bean flavour and a Raspberry and Chia Seed flavour. They are the only coconut yoghurts on the market in New Zealand that contain no additives, preservatives or gums. Coconut yoghurt is a wonderful food to feed your gut and promote overall good health. Our recently launched flavoured yoghurts are refined-sugar- free, and contain less than half a teaspoon of total sugars per 100g, making them the lowest flavoured yoghurts on the New Zealand market.”

What is new with Cathedral Cove Naturals?

“We have only recently launched the Raspberry and Chia Seed Coconut Yoghurt variety and this has been a huge hit. We have some new and exciting products in the pipeline and will be launching a Cherry and Cacao Paleo Super Cereal in the upcoming months.”
