This year’s Christmas stocking treats are on track to be the tastiest yet, as Nestlé’s Scorched Almonds reveal a new Salted Caramel flavour has been added to the lineup – just in time for gifting season.
It’s no secret Scorched Almonds is a well-loved Kiwi classic, with many celebrations throughout the silly season and beyond not complete without a box or two to share with family and friends. Whether gifted as a thank you, slipped into stockings on Christmas Eve or enjoyed as a solo treat while no one is looking, there’s always an occasion for a box of Scorched Almonds.
Inside, each pack contains the much-loved treat; whole almonds coated in mouth-watering salted caramel and smothered in Nestlé milk chocolate.
Nestlé Head of Marketing Confectionary, Joyce Tan, said they’re looking forward to Kiwis trying the new addition this summer.
“Scorched Almonds has always been a go-to-gift for New Zealanders, often you’ll find an open box on the table during Christmas lunch, or under the tree. This year we wanted to bring a little bit of excitement and indulgence to everyone’s favourite box of Scorched Almonds with the introduction of a new Salted Caramel pack. Of course, we also have our classic Scorched Almonds range which are the perfect solution for the hard to buy for person in their family, or the last minute yet thoughtful gift” said Tan.
