It is New Zealand’s turn to get its hands on the innovative eco-cleaning tablet and re-fill bottle range from Re·stor. Launching in supermarkets nationwide from Monday, May 16th it is a new way forward for sustainable circular cleaning.
Re·stor is on a mission to save one million plastic bottles from landfills with its Concentrated Cleaning Tablets and re·fill Bottle. The spray bottles are made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and prevents traditional waste of single-use plastic bottles. Already since the launch, Re·stor has saved over 50,000 plastic bottles from being thrown away.
The Re·stor system is as easy as filling the spray bottle with water and dropping in the cleaning tablet before customers are ready to go with a cruelty-free and scientifically proven multi-purpose cleaner.
Traditional surface cleaners are made from 95 percent water, which Re·stor doesn’t see the point in paying for when you have it at home. So, its powerful non-toxic tablets dissolve to make 500ml of cleaner.
“We’ve set out to create a sustainably-designed & circular cleaning option that performs and exceeds expectations at an affordable price. It’s the merging of these three pillars that enables us to make a greater change for the better.” Said Founder, Grant Taylor.
The Cleaning Tablets and re·fil Bottles are available as All-Purpose, Kitchen, Bathroom and Glass/Mirror products.
The kiwi company first launched in October of 2021 with its laundry Detergent Sheets, and soon after it's re·fil range hit the shelves in Woolworth stores across Australia.
