The team at Angel Food has launched New Zealand’s first plant-based cream cheese. The vegan alternative is made using a combination of coconut oil, peas and maize. “Sales of vegan and dairy-free products are on the rise in New Zealand,” said Alice Shopland founder and CEO of Angel Food. “We’re seeing huge growth across all our products. It’s really come into the mainstream and food outlets like Countdown and New World supermarkets along with Dominos and Hell Pizza are now stocking our dairy-free alternatives.”
