The Uncommon Wine of New Zealand has raised the bar once again, introducing a new collection of premium canned still wines.

Responding to growing demand, the range now includes three exquisite still options: Pinot Noir, Rosé, and Sauvignon Blanc. This latest expansion underscored the brand’s mission to innovate the premium wine market and bring convenience to discerning wine lovers.

In a significant milestone, The Uncommon Wine has been named the canned wine partner for Venues Ōtautahi, solidifying its position as a leader in the industry.

This competitive win secured the brand a three-year deal as the preferred supplier of canned wines, both still and sparkling, for Venues Ōtautahi’s locations, including the highly anticipated One NZ Stadium in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, set to open in 2026.

Each wine was carefully sourced and crafted to showcase the best of Marlborough’s famed vineyards.

  • Wilfred, Pinot Noir: Smooth, silky, and decadent, with notes of red cherries and red currants. Sourced from Marlborough’s Southern Valleys, known for its clay soils and cooler evenings, the Pinot Noir is rich in varietal character and depth.
  • Milligan, Rosé: Dry, fruity, and dazzling, this blushing beauty has offered aromas of strawberries and cream, with a palate rich in red berry and stone fruit flavours. Grapes from the Wairau Valley and Rarangi subregions bring vibrancy to every sip.
  • Dottie, Sauvignon Blanc: Vibrant, zesty, and classic, this Marlborough favourite bursts with passionfruit, guava, and blackcurrant bud notes. Blended from vineyards across the region, it has delivered a quintessential New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc experience.

The still wines join The Uncommon Wine’s existing sparkling range, which has been given a refreshed look to unify the collection and elevate its appeal.

The new still wines are available online now, with wider retail listings, including Farro stores, set to follow in early February.
