AUSTRALIA | Calabria Family Wine Group has welcomed House of Fine Wine and The Wine Company into their distribution fold.
The Group has taken over Australian distribution of its brand portfolio, including Groupe Bollinger, Villa Maria & Tahbilk, managing all on‑premise and independent retail distribution nationally, thereby significantly strengthening the Group’s presence across Australia.
Andrew Calabria, Sales & Marketing Director and third‑generation family member of the Calabria Family Wine Group, said the milestone reflected the family’s dedication and marked a significant step forward in strengthening Calabria Family Wine Group’s portfolio and national footprint across both on‑premise and independent retail channels.
He said this milestone brought together three like‑minded businesses that share values and a long‑term view of the industry.
“Welcoming House of Fine Wine and The Wine Company into the Calabria family significantly strengthens our national distribution with some of the world’s most respected wine brands and positions us to deliver even greater value across the Australian market,” said Calabria.
“We are passionate about representing world‑class wines, and both portfolios reflect that same dedication. We look forward to championing the ongoing success of these iconic brands, including Groupe Bollinger, Villa Maria and Tahbilk.”
As part of the transition, Calabria Family Wine Group, backed by its 80‑year history, has integrated key personnel from both the House of Fine Wine and The Wine Company into its sales, customer service and marketing teams.
Their expertise ensures continuity for brand partners and strengthens the Group’s capability as it takes these portfolios forward across the Australian market.
Simon Limmer, CEO of Indevin Group and owner of House of Fine Wine, said the partnership is an important milestone in pursuing Indevin’s customer‑centric strategy and supports the continued growth of the Villa Maria brand in Australia.
“Calabria Family Wine Group brings deep market expertise, long‑term commitment to the wine sector, and strong alignment with our values. Together, we can ensure continued momentum for the Villa Maria brand in one of our key markets,” said Limmer.
As Calabria Family Wine Group moves into this new chapter, it further strengthens its position as one of Australia’s leading family‑owned wine businesses, while deepening its presence across key markets through a portfolio of esteemed brands.
