Whole Foods Market Phoenix Relocation

New Whole Foods Market in Phoenix

PHOENIX | Whole Foods Market opened a new 50,358-square-foot store located in the Paradise Valley Mall.

The store is a relocation of the existing Paradise Valley store, which has served the community for 22 years. This spacious, light-filled store has showcased decor inspired by Arizona’s unique charm, with nods to its desert scenery.

The new location’s product assortment features more than 330 local items from Arizona, all of which meet Whole Foods Market’s high-quality ingredient standards.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Paradise Valley community to this new larger space,” said Laura Kammerer, Store Team Leader for Whole Foods Market.

“With an expanded selection of offerings, including a new full-service coffee and juice bar, we’re excited to continue to serve our customers in this beautiful new store with the same high-quality standards and dedicated service that we’ve provided for more than two decades.”

Opening morning, customers were treated to cold brew from ROC2 and snacks from Laura’s Gourmet and Midi Bites. The first 300 shoppers in line were gifted a Secret Saver coupon with potential discounts of up to $100.

As part of the opening celebration, the store donated food and resources to the Paradise Valley Community Food Bank to help improve the transportation of surplus food to areas in need. The food bank had previously received a refrigerated van through the retailer’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program.

Through the program, Whole Foods Market has donated 54 refrigerated vehicles to local food rescue organisations, ensuring efficient delivery to communities facing food insecurity.

All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company’s rigorous Quality Standards, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup, and more than 300 flavours, colours, sweeteners and other ingredients commonly found in food. In addition, all beauty and body care products must meet the company’s body care standards, which ban more than 240 commonly used ingredients, including phthalates, parabens and microbeads.

Prime members who shop at Whole Foods Market have access to several benefits year-round, including discounts on select popular products each week and an additional ten percent off hundreds of in-store sale items. Customers can also pay in-store with their palm using Amazon One, Whole Foods Market, or the Amazon app.
