AgritechNZ has unlocked new global opportunities with Fruit Logistica.
Hosted by the German New Zealand Chamber of Commerce, Argitech NZ has invited professionals to join an exclusive Fruit Logistica webinar this October.
Participants will be able to explore various benefits and discover how agritech businesses can take centre stage at the Berlin Fruit Logistica.
With over 2,700 exhibitors and nearly 70,000 trade visitors from 145 countries, visitors can meet top buyers from 20 key Asian markets.
New Zealand tech companies in the horticulture sector looking to gain brand recognition and build a global customer base can discover strategies for creating meaningful connections, gain insights on the exhibition's ROI and maximise investment beyond an exhibition stand.
Everyone who registers will also receive a link to the video after the webinar. Key speakers at the webinar will include Erin Daly, Trade Fair Manager – German NZ Chamber of Commerce Inc (GNZCC), Sarah McCormack, CEO, Te Mata Exports and Lotte Bayly, Global Sales Director – WayBeyond.
Daly has been passionate about bringing the best of New Zealand to international markets through trade fairs and has watched the rapid growth of her exhibitors in their market expansion through ongoing participation at these specific shows.
She holds a Master's in International Studies (MInSt) from the University of Otago, with a focus on macroeconomics, politics, and international law, as well as an Honors degree in German and French from Otago.
Having spent most of her life between Europe and New Zealand, she has a deep knowledge of German-NZ trade and paths to market.
McCormack first entered the fresh produce industry in the mid-1990s due to her ability to speak Japanese. She has held several senior roles and directorships for key produce organisations, managing international businesses involved in sales and marketing, import/export, and growth.
At the same time, Bayly has 24 years of experience in technology, managing sales channels, partnerships, key accounts, and leading sales teams to successful customer outcomes. For the past four years, she has been focused on agritech, providing digital agronomy solutions to enterprise-scale growers, breeders, and seed companies globally.
Kylie Horomia, Growth & Transformation Manager of AgriTech New Zealand, will host the webinar. Her journey in the agricultural landscape is akin to being an “AgriTinder” matchmaker, fostering connections and networks that pave the way for enduring business relationships and mutual success.
She attended Fruit Logistica in Berlin earlier this year and has advocated for New Zealand companies looking to increase their brand awareness, connections, and sales pipeline.
The AgritechNZ Fruit Logistica webinar will be held on the 16th of October.
