Huge Success of SIAL India

Huge Success of SIAL India

With more than 8,500 attendees and more than 3,000 exhibitors from over 30 countries, SIAL India was a huge success.

The event, co-located with Vinexpo India, saw more than 2,000 trend-setting food and beverage products displayed at Yashobhoomi, the India international convention and expo centre in Dwarka, New Dehli.

Industry experts hosted business meetings that showcased new ideas and lively discussions and introduced topics on preserving local culinary traditions while embracing innovation and the best global tastes.

Providing a glimpse into the future of the food and beverage industry, SIAL India and Vinexpo India 2023 not only celebrated the sector's present state but also laid the groundwork for a dynamic and interconnected future in which international collaboration propels the industry forward.

The three-day event included 3,500 meetings and 15 back-to-back master classes. It also featured multiple live cookery demonstrations from well-known chefs, including Narender Singh Latwal and Nishant Choubey.

SIAL hosted its annual innovation award in celebration of several breakthrough products. The Kimchi Witch Salad Powder from Thebab Company of South Korea won gold, the You and I Kombucha from CSF Corporation won silver, and the Fig Juice from Purandar Highlands and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority of India were awarded bronze.

A notable feature was the involvement of the European Union, which was the region of honour. The EU led and curated the conference sessions on subjects ranging from sustainability to regulatory standards.

More than 20 ambassadors attended, with more than three embassies in total. The wide array of participating countries ensured that a rich tapestry of culinary traditions and technological innovations was on display.

Organisers expressed the overwhelming response regarding the event, with excitement already building for the next edition.
