In 2024, SIAL, celebrating its 60th anniversary, is gearing up for a landmark exposition with a unique dual-city event in China. This edition will unfold in two vibrant cities: Shanghai and Shenzhen. Scheduled from May 28–30, 2024, in Shanghai and later from September 2–4, 2024, in Shenzhen, this dual-city event emphasises SIAL's enduring legacy and transformation into a global platform for industry professionals.

SIAL Shanghai promises an expansive showcase covering 200,000 square meters at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. With 5,000 exhibitors and an anticipated 180,000 professionals globally, the event will feature Highlight Sectors like Babyfood Village, Organic & Wellness Village, Dairy Sector, Non-alcoholic Beverage Sector, General Food Sector, Meat Poultry & Cured Meat Sector, Seafood Sector, and Alcoholic Beverage Sector. National and regional pavilions will add a diverse touch to the exhibition.

The SIAL Global Food Industry Summit will be a key highlight, comprising nine sub-forums on global retail trends and food technology. Accompanying activities, including SIAL Innovation, La Cuisine, and the Snacking Awards, provide a comprehensive view of current and emerging food and beverage industry trends.

SIAL Shenzhen, set for September 2-4, 2024, at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, will span 60,000 square meters with over 1,500 exhibitors and 67,000 professionals expected to participate. The exhibition will focus on three Highlight Villages: Chinese Food & Beverage Village, International Food & Beverage Village, and International Meat Village.

Like its Shanghai counterpart, SIAL Shenzhen will feature the SIAL Global Food Industry Summit with five sub-forums covering diverse aspects of the food and beverage industry. The event will also host activities like SIAL Innovation and the Snacking Awards, providing attendees with insights into the latest industry developments.

As SIAL China celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2024, the dual-city exhibitions in Shanghai and Shenzhen present an unparalleled opportunity for visitors to immerse themselves in the dynamic food and beverage sector.
