AUSTRALIA | ALDI Australia has been crowned once again Australia’s best-rated supermarket with the highest number of satisfied customers.
According to Canstar Blue’s 2025 Most Satisfied Customers Awards, Australian consumers have consistently ranked ALDI as the only supermarket to earn five stars in overall customer satisfaction within the annual supermarket ratings for the past eight years (2018-2025).
On top of receiving five stars for Overall Satisfaction, ALDI was also the only supermarket to earn five stars in four other categories, including value for money, freshness of fruit, vegetables and meat, quality of supermarket-owned branded products, and store/website layout and presentation.
Simon Padovani-Ginies, Group Director at ALDI Australia, was proud to have maintained ALDI’s leadership and satisfaction for customers at a time when they needed it the most.
“We do things differently here at ALDI – bringing Aussies high-quality groceries at the lowest prices. Awards like this prove we’re leaving a lasting impression, with customers loving what we do time and time again. Customers know they can rely on us to consistently deliver everyday low prices and value for money,” said Simon Padovani-Ginies.
“From day one fans and ALDIcore loyalists to fresh new faces, our customers keep coming back for the staples they know and love, but also the surprising golden nuggets they uncover while browsing our aisles. All while we stick to our promise to never be beaten on the cost of your weekly shop.”
Recent Canstar Blue research has shown that the most important thing Australians want from their supermarket is low prices across all products in-store, not just on the specials.
“We also know shoppers are becoming increasingly price-savvy, checking unit prices and choosing to buy in-season produce to get value,” said Canstar Blue spokesperson Eden Radford.
“Whether it’s a full weekly shop or a quick mid-week visit, supermarkets are part of the regular routine for so many Australians, and when it comes to a top-rated experience, these latest results show ALDI continues to be the preferred place to go.”
This is ALDI’s thirteenth win since Canstar’s Supermarket Satisfaction Ratings began in 2011.
