BioPak’s New Acquisition

BioPak’s New Acquisition

Australian company BioPak has acquired a reusable cup enterprise giant, Huskee, strengthening its position within the sustainability industry.

The new deal marks a significant partnership and alignment set to fast-track and strengthen BioPak and Huskee's shared vision of a circular economy and a world without waste.

Australian brand Huskee has been a beacon of innovation, crafting functional and aesthetic products that ingeniously utilise waste and recycled materials, inspiring a transition into a waste-free world.

Its cup exchange program, HuskeeSwap, and end-of-life recycling program, HuskeeLoop, gained notoriety for its strides towards creating circular economy outcomes with the lowest possible environmental footprint.

"We are incredibly proud to welcome Huskee to the BioPak family," said Gary Smith, BioPak CEO.

"This partnership opens the door to an array of exciting new circular solutions, reusable products, and services that will be seamlessly integrated into BioPak's offering, enabling us to better serve our ever-expanding global customer base."

BioPak's long-term strategic direction is to drive significant investment into the reusable market. Huskee's impressive cup exchange program and end-of-life recycling programme align with BioPak's targets towards circularity.

Huskee's founder, Saxon Wright, was enthusiastic about the acquisition, seeing it as a defining milestone to further amplify innovation and enable a transition to a waste-free world.

"At Huskee, we recognise that a vision of having a waste-free world cannot be done on our own but one that needs collaboration across industries. With this, BioPak's values and ethos are perfectly aligned with Huskee's commitment to the environment, and we see this as a significant step forward in helping us continue to build scalable ecosystems," said Wright.

Despite the change in ownership, Huskee's identity, values and essence will remain intact. This partnership will open the door to new circular reusable products and services committed to benefitting the environment.
