USA | General Mills has made its debut in noodle-filled comfort food with its first ramen varieties, bringing crave-worthy flavours from two fan-favourite brands — Old El Paso and Totino’s.
General Mills has cranked up the flavour by introducing Old El Paso Ramen Noodles to spice up the instant noodle aisle. Back in January, the internet went wild with speculation about the pizza-inspired Totino’s Ramen Noodles.
- Old El Paso Ramen Noodles – Fajita: A rich, smokey blend of bell peppers, onions, and cumin in a hearty chicken broth.
- Old El Paso Ramen Noodles – Beef Birria: Slow-cooked beef flavours with just the right balance of spice and umami.
- Totino’s Ramen Noodles – Cheese Pizza: All the classic cheesy, tomatoey Totino’s goodness — now in noodle form.
- Totino’s Ramen Noodles – Buffalo-Style Chicken Pizza: A spicy, tangy mix of buffalo sauce, chicken, and cheese for a bold new twist on a favourite.
Ramen has been no stranger to viral trends, with more than 174 million posts about “instant ramen” recipes lighting up TikTok. Now, General Mills has given noodle lovers a chance to spice up their ramen — blending the zesty, flavour-packed flavours of Totino’s and Old El Paso into a deliciously unexpected instant ramen experience.
“We know our fans are constantly looking for exciting new ways to enjoy their favourite flavours,” said MC Comings, VP, Business Unit Director at General Mills.
“Think melty, saucy Totino’s Pizza Rolls vibes mixed with the brothy goodness of ramen. And if Tex-Mex is more your style, Old El Paso’s got your back with bold, spicy flavours that’ll wake up your taste buds.”
General Mills will roll the products out to Walmart this April, offering a surprising and tasty way to stir up mealtime routines.
