Over the last 25 years, The Fresh Cheese Company has been manufacturing multi-award winning high-quality Italian style cheese sold under the Mamma Lucia Cheese and Puglia cheese brands.
The company has since evolved from a suburban cottage business into a major player in the speciality cheese industry. Manufacturing cheeses such as mozzarella, mascarpone, bocconcini, ricotta, pecorino, parmesan and a variety of other Italian style dairy products.
Initially a two-person operation, today the Fresh Cheese Company employs 127 staff, processing 80,000 litres of milk a day, and supplies airlines, cruise ships, restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets. Their export sales have increased over the past ten years with their products now being enjoyed in over 25 countries, through direct and indirect sales.
