Budget supermarket chain Aldi has committed to ensuring 100 percent of its packaging is reusable, recyclable and compostable by 2025. As part of the initiative, the company will also be placing How2Recycle labels on all of its Aldi exclusive products by 2020.
Aldi is considered to be a leader in plastic reduction. The brand has not been using single-use plastic bags for more than 40 years and has the Aldi Corporate Responsibility program, which saw it recycle more than 250,00 tons of material last year.
