Candy Kittens has become the UK’s first sugar confectionary brand to get the B Corp certification. The plant-based brand launched in 2012 to provide gourmet sweets that were better for customers and the planet.
The brand received a B Corp score of 86.5 in October, the minimum score is 80. It also received its carbon-neutral status in 2021.
Co-Founder Jamie Laing said that making good sweets is no longer good enough, and the B Crop approval means the company is meeting the highest social and environmental performance standards.
