What would you do with $680 million (US$487 million)? Or, even better: what wouldn’t you do with that sum?
Whoever bought the US Powerball winning ticket at a New Hampshire small-town grocery store is about to find out. The draw took place last Saturday, but the lucky winner hasn’t come forward yet. He or she has a full year to do it, and decide whether to have the half-billion paid out over the next three decades or receive a lump sum cash prize of US$330.6 million. Meanwhile, the lucky store will get US$75,000 for selling the winning ticket.
