Walmart will introduce a new attendance policy that will give employees even more flexibility. The change comes after a recent survey performed by the company revealed that associates craved “more flexibility when life happens and rewards for consistently showing up to work.”
As a result of the updated policy, employees will be eligible for a 25 percent increase on their quarterly cash bonuses for good attendance as well as a Protected PTO program which provides employees with a bank of time to draw from to cover unplanned absences.
Last year the major retailer launched the My Walmart Schedule which gives employees the ability to trade shifts easily with co-workers.
