Morrisons Price Cuts

Morrisons Price Cuts

UK | Morrisons has cut the price of hundreds of everyday essentials to help customers fill their baskets with great quality food and kitchen cupboard staples at affordable prices.

Key volume lines, including chicken breast fillets, laundry pods, vegetables, and even enchilada kits, have had their prices reduced by an average of 18 percent.

These items will remain on promotion for at least four to eight weeks. The cuts mark the next step on Morrisons' journey to help make household budgets go further ahead of heightened spending moments like Christmas.

Among the items in the latest round of price cuts are:

  • Family meal staples, including rice and pasta, fresh vegetables and chicken breasts
  • Everyday basics, like olive oil, kitchen and toilet rolls, laundry pods and mayonnaise
  • Items to help stock up ahead of the cold weather, like soups and cold and flu tablets

"At Morrisons, we believe great quality should be affordable for everyone, and we know that the cost of everyday products really matters to our customers right now," said Alex Paver, Pricing and Customer Director at Morrisons.

"That’s why we’re cutting the prices of over 650 items, from fresh favourites to cupboard staples, so our customers can trust they’re getting real value every time they shop with us. These price cuts mean customers can spend less on the essentials and still enjoy the great quality Morrisons is known for.”

A range of market-leading offers is also available, alongside the new price cuts, featuring key deals.  The price cuts will be supported by a campaign across TV, print, digital, and in-store signage to help customers easily identify reduced items.
