UK | After months of work, M&S Pudsey’s foodhall transformation is ready to be revealed.
The fresh market-style foodhall has undergone a complete transformation and is now 34 percent bigger, with a new floor, ceiling and lighting installed, as well as some brand-new features for customers to enjoy.
From a new in-store bakery and coffee counter, serving a selection of bread and pastries, as well as takeaway hot drinks, to a new hot chicken counter, serving the best rotisserie choices.
M&S’ iconic cheese barge is also now open, with a selection of artisan cheeses to help create the perfect cheeseboard. M&S Food has also just launched over 450 brand-new and upgraded products to kickstart summer in the most delicious way possible.
Whether firing up the grill, hosting a garden gathering or planning the ultimate al fresco feast, M&S Pudsey has everything you need to make this summer extra tasty.
The store’s Social Champions, Adrian and Mo, will be sharing their must-have buys this month on Facebook and TikTok, including the Shred N’Share Dine In deal, which serves four with a main to share and four extras, “cookies meet cheesecake” cookie cups, brand-new White Sangria, and dreamy British peonies.
Customers can still find M&S’ Remarksable value lines of everyday essentials, price benchmarked against key competitors, throughout the store, alongside Bigger Pack Better Value family-friendly options and Fresh Market and Flower Shop Specials.
M&S has a long history at the Owlcotes Shopping Centre, having first opened in 1991, and the store’s iconic signage and façade have even undergone a refresh as part of the transformation.
Claire Smith, who leads the 250-strong M&S Pudsey team, has worked for M&S for almost 30 years, and was joined by one of the team’s longest-serving colleagues, Adrian, to cut the ribbon this morning for the new foodhall reveal.
There’s even more for M&S Pudsey customers to look forward to, as the transformation isn’t over just yet. The store’s café, fashion, home, and beauty sections are also getting an upgrade.
“We are so excited to reveal the latest touches to our brand-new food hall, and I can’t wait to see customers’ responses on seeing it all come together. Our new fruit and vegetable section looks especially amazing, thanks to our signature neon lighting, as well as the very best selection of fresh and seasonal produce from our Select Farms, just in time for summer,” said Claire Smith, Store Manager at M&S Pudsey.
“I’m so proud of the entire team, and thanks to all our customers for their patience while the work took place – the countdown now starts again as we have some more exciting transformations planned for the rest of the store.”
M&S Pudsey is one of several M&S stores across the UK being renewed this year.
