New World Whangaparaoa has been officially opened. Owned and operated by Penny Ashton, the 2,710 sqm store employs around 90 staff and is served by 215 car park spaces.
“We have had incredible support and interest from the local community when our plans to build the store were first announced,” said Angela Bull, Foodstuffs North Island General Manager, Property Development. “This is our first New World on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, and we are especially excited to open the store just in time for Christmas."
