Hallertau Brewery has revealed something special for its Auckland patrons—The Beer of Auckland. The 09 is available throughout the Auckland region, representing the perfect drop for the coming summer months.
“People are flocking here to drink our beer because you can’t get it south of the Bombays or north of the Brynderwyns,” said Hallertau’s Captain of Beer, Steve Plowman. “This brew has an emphasis on freshness with a spot of civic pride.”
“Inspired by a time when Kiwis held tight to a regional affiliation to a beer, we have high hopes that this delicious beer will be embraced and adopted as Auckland’s own,” said Plowman.
The beer is available throughout the ‘09’ region from November.
