Chicken Sausages Recall

Pak’n Save Pukekohe is recalling a specific batch of packed in-store Tegel brand The Original Chicken Sausages due to the possible presence of an undeclared allergen (milk). This product has not been exported.

The sausages were packed on the 10th of November 2023, and have a best before marking of 15.11.2023.  The sausages are sold in plastic packaging in packets of six.

Customers are asked to check the Best Before date on the front sticker of the product. Consumers with a milk allergy should not consume this product. If customers have consumed any of these products and have any concerns about their health, seek medical advice.

These sausages were incorrectly packed in store with the wrong labels. There has been no report of associated illness in New Zealand. Consumers with a milk allergy should return the product to the retailer for a full refund.

This recall does not affect any other Tegel brand products.
