Tea gardens in Sri Lanka produce some of the best tea leaves on Earth. Basilur Tea has the privilege of being able to access those fresh leaves right where they are grown. “Experiencing Basilur tea overseas gave me the idea to bring it to New Zealand and share my experience with local people here.” The tea is all EU and USDA production certified and complies with ISO standards. “We are only producing teas with freshly picked high-grade tea leaves, packed in our factory using the newest Italian equipment. One of our leading technological advantages is the production of staple and glue-free tea bags.”

Basilur Tea Export has its own packing factories, tea tasting laboratories, and warehouses in Sri Lanka. Basilur offers teas all across New Zealand, including small rural towns. “Within the next ten years we hope Basilur tea becomes a must-have item at every Kiwi house.”
