The Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code) outlines that most pre-packaged food products for retail consumption in Australia and New Zealand must accurately display nutrition information on the packet.
To help food businesses meet these requirements, FSANZ developed the NPC as a simple, cost-effective method to determine the contents of their products.
It is also an excellent resource for dietitians, regulators, caterers, and consumers who want to better understand recipes' contents.
The new video guide explains how to generate an NIP in three easy steps: enter ingredients, enter amounts, and generate the panel.
The NPC is freely available to the public and is one of the most popular features on the FSANZ website.
