Television personality and winemaker, Graham Norton has met with his New Zealand counterpart, Invivo, to launch the 2024 vintage.
One of New Zealand’s most innovative wineries, Invivo, has celebrated its 2024 vintage by meeting long-term partner-in-wine Graham Norton in New York for their annual tasting and blending session of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
The newest 2024 vintage of GN New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc presents tropical and citrus flavours while boasting great acidity to deliver a wonderful crisp and refreshing finish.
Other wines in the ‘GN’ wine range available widely in New Zealand include a Prosecco, Prosecco Rose, New Zealand Rose, Australian Shiraz and Argentinian Malbec, in addition to three Irish gins and an Irish Vodka.
The annual blending session was a meeting point for Graham, based in London, and Invivo cofounders Tim Lighthouse and Rob Cameron, who flew over from their winery in Te Kauwahata, as they perfected their new 2024 blend of ‘GN’ New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc over a meticulous three-hour tasting session at 1 Hotel Central Park in the heart of Manhattan, overlooking the stunning vistas of Central Park and iconic New York skyline. Friend of Invivo and photographer Nigel Barker was on-hand to capture the special moment.
“Our annual blending session is a special time for us as it’s a celebration of another year of hard work by the Invivo winery team, and we always have great fun together," said Graham Norton.
"Tim and Rob brought some outstanding Sauvignon Blanc samples from their vineyards in New Zealand to taste. I’m particular about my wines, so their quality and origin are very important to me. Enjoying a chilled glass of our final delicious blend in the sun and overlooking the New York skyline was a memorable moment for me.”
Lighthouse and Cameron said it was a proud moment to launch the eleventh vintage of Norton's New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
"It is a testament to Graham’s commitment to creating the perfect wine year after year. His hands-on involvement ensures authenticity in every bottle. Delivering quality wine that can be enjoyed by everyone continues to be our top priority and we’re excited for customers to get their hands on the 2024 vintage - it’s of exceptional quality this year.”
