Griffin's Snacks has appointed Richard Gardner as Supply Chain and Operations Director in New Zealand.
Griffin’s Snacks, an Intersnack ANZ company, has been one of New Zealand's top snack foods company. It manufactures biscuits and snacks in New Zealand, where it has been the market leader in its core categories with a broad portfolio of iconic brands.
The appointment was announced following an executive search undertaken by SEQEL Partners.
Richard Gardner is an experienced supply chain and operations executive who has spent the last 19 years of his career in the liquor industry.
He has broad-based experience covering all aspects of production/operations management, warehousing and distribution, sales and operations planning, procurement, delivery of capital projects and continuous improvement.
Gardner is currently the Director of Operations for Indevin, New Zealand’s largest wine company. He had joined the viticulture sector with Fosters Group in 2006 and later moved to Treasury Wine Estates when this entity was demerged from Fosters.
At Treasury Wine Estates, Gardner spent time in the United States as Vice President of Supply Chain Services, and as General Manager New Zealand, and other production and operational roles. He started his career in the forestry sector with Carter Holt Harvey.
He also holds a Bachelor of Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury and will be joining Griffin’s in late January.
