Three of the Grocery Ball Trustees, along with the CEO of Autism NZ, Dane Dougan, have visited a number of FMCG companies to award them with seven certificates of thanks for their support with this year’s ball. Sealord was one of the companies.
The proceeds raised from the ball have been donated to Autism NZ, in the form of a $202,000 cheque. Over the past years, Grocery Charity Balls have helped raise more than $2.8 million for Kiwi charities.
“We should all be very proud of what our dynamic industry has achieved through the Ball over the past 12 years and the Trustees aim is to continue, with improvements, every year,” said Scott McKay, Trust Chairman.
