Hellers brand Sweet Chilli Pork Tenders has been recalled because the product may contain foreign matter (black plastic).
Hellers brand Sweet Chilli Pork Tenders (600 g) with a best-before date of "06 06 26" (6 June 2026) was affected by this recall.
The recall was announced on the 19th of May 2026 by Hellers Limited. The product was sold frozen in a 600 g plastic bag. This recall did not affect any other Hellers brand products.
The product was sold at supermarkets nationwide. It was distributed through selected food banks throughout New Zealand.
The product was imported from Australia. It was not re-exported.
Customers should check the best before date on the back of the product. Affected product should not be consumed. There have been no reports of associated injury and customers should contact Hellers Limited for a full refund.
