AUSTRALIA | Sydney-based Homart Group has made a strategic move by acquiring New Zealand vitamin brand Thompson's Herbals and Australian essential oils brand Thursday Plantation.
This step will propel Homart's operations in the Australian and New Zealand markets with projected pro forma revenue exceeding $100 million this year, offering stakeholders, investors, employees, and industry professionals a promising outlook.
Thompson's is a master formulator of Dietary Supplements, founded in New Zealand in 1951 by Mark Barrington Thompson. It is dedicated to high-quality herbal formulations grounded in traditional use and supported by credible science. Built on its founders' deep knowledge of the inner workings of plants and herbs, the brand is synonymous with uncompromising quality dietary supplements.
Thursday Plantation's strong heritage underpins the brand, supporting the trust and authenticity of the products. All products have been developed based on knowledge passed down through generations combined with the latest scientific research.
By incorporating Thompson's Herbals and Thursday Plantation into its portfolio, Homart aims to expand its market share, introduce new products, and enhance its local and international competitive edge. Established in 1992, Homart sells health supplements, skincare, and functional dairy products under twelve owned brands, including Spring Leaf, Top Life, Health N Nature.
"This significant development aligns with our strategic vision to expand our domestic brand presence by acquiring companies with deep roots in Australia and New Zealand. These brands are recognised for their quality and heritage," said Jeffrey Yeh, Managing Director of Homart Pharmaceuticals.
"We will continue to grow these two amazing brands."
Homart is fully committed to these two reputable brands' continued growth and success. Homart has a global presence in ANZ, Greater China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, North America, and the EU and plans to list on the ASX next year.
