In collaboration with plant-based café-franchise Green Moustache, Canada’s Lionsgate Hospital recently unveiled a vegan vending machine. This initiative stems from the hospital’s conscious effort to provide nutritious and vegan food options to patients and visitors.

The machine offers 100 percent organic and gluten-free meals made fresh and delivered daily by the café. It features a variety of savoury options such as Buddha bowls, raw Pad Thai, superfood salads, veggie wraps, and desserts such as caramel date squares, chocolate brownies, and lemon cheesecake.

“Our vending machine addresses the much-needed convenience of access to quick and tasty meals that don’t compromise on nutrition and quality,” said Nicolette Richer, founder and CEO of Green Moustache. “It is a first step towards revolutionising healthcare.”
