Costco and New Zealand Food Safety have issued a Kirkland recall.
Costco Wholesale New Zealand Limited has issued a recall on a specific batch of its Kirkland Signature brand, Marinated Beef Bulgogi, due to an undeclared allergen (sesame).
If you have an allergy to sesame and have purchased this product, do not consume it. If you have consumed this product and are concerned about your health, seek medical advice.
The product recalled is the Kirkland Signature brand Marinated Beef Bulgogi of various weights, PACKED ON: 25.08.24 BEST BEFORE: 28.08.24, with the batch marking item number 199492.
The product is sold at variable weights in a clear plastic package at Costco Wholesale, Westgate. It has yet to be exported.
This recall does not affect any other Kirkland Signature brand products. Customers are asked to check the packed and best before the date marked on the label.
People with a sesame allergy should not consume this product. If you are not allergic to sesame, this recall does not affect you.
Customers with a sesame allergy should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
