Krispy Kreme partners with KitKat to bring chocolate lovers two irresistible new doughnuts packed with the iconic creamy  milk chocolate and crisp wafers of KitKat.

Krispy Kreme is bringing the new iconic flavour and crunch of KitKat to a limited-edition doughnut range now available in two iconic flavours for a limited time.

The Choc-Crunch Doughnut is made with the Krispy Kreme iconic, melt-in-your-mouth Original Glazed doughnut, drenched in velvety milk chocolate, generously coated in crispy KitKat chunks, and crowned with a signature KitKat finger for the ultimate crunch in every bite.

The Choc-Filled Doughnut is a fluffy, shell-shaped doughnut bursting with a luscious, creamy KitKat spread, dipped in a rich, glossy milk chocolate coating and finished with a sprinkle of crispy KitKat chunks.

Marketing Director for Krispy Kreme, Aimee Cutajar, said the collaboration was exactly what fans had asked for.

“The combination of our fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts with the crunch of KitKat is a match made in treat heaven. Every creamy, crispy, chocolatey-sweet bite will help turn that busy day into a sweet one.  It’s the perfect excuse to take a break and share a little moment of joy with friends and family,” said Cutajar.

Nestlé Professional Head of Foods Jodi Teasdale said that both brands were partnered well.

“Bringing the iconic KitKat experience into the world of Krispy Kreme doughnuts is a dream pairing for chocolate fans. We know New Zealanders love their KitKat, and now they can enjoy the same delicious crunch and smooth chocolate in a brand-new way, conveniently available at their next Krispy Kreme break stop,” said Teasdale.

Both flavours are available now for a limited time only at Krispy Kreme stores, Woolworths, Countdown and BP stores nationwide.

The brand originated in 1937 in North Carolina where the first Original Glazed doughnut recipe was created and since then has been known for its doughnut and barista coffee around the world. KrispyKreme launched into New Zealand in 2018 with five stores across Auckland and also being available at selected BP petrol stations.
