Rocket Foods has recalled a specific batch of its Rocket Kitchen brand Chocolate and Passionfruit Dessert due to the presence of undeclared allergen tree nuts (hazelnuts).
Kahlua and Hazelnut Dessert Cheesecake have been incorrectly packaged as Rocket Kitchen Chocolate and Passionfruit Dessert.
The batch recalled has the fresh best before the 6th of August, 2023, up to and including the 22nd of August, 2023, with the dessert’s frozen best-before date being the 2nd of January, 2024.
Retailers of the product will need to download a copy of the point of sale notice and display it in-store for a month.
Customers are asked to check the date mark on the product.
People with an allergy to tree nuts (hazelnut) should not consume this product. If customers have consumed any of these products and are concerned about their health, they are encouraged to seek medical advice.
Customers with a tree nut (hazelnut) allergy can return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
