New World Kaikoura reopened yesterday morning, although significant challenges with key services such as power and water had affected fresh and frozen products. The store has been assessed and declared structurally sound.
With the exception of Kaikoura, which resumed trading with a limited stock, all Foodstuffs’ stores across NZ are operating as normal. The company is working with Civil Defense and suppliers to ensure continuity of supply is maintained.
